Dr. Nabil Al-Hassan

Chairman of the Referees Committee

With over 25 years of experience in administrative, technical, and sports fields both within the Kingdom and internationally, Dr. Al-Hassan is a former international judo champion.
He serves as Chairman of the Referees Committee in both Saudi Arabia and Asia, and is also an advisor to the President of the International Judo Federation.
Dr. Al-Hassan has contributed to the development of policies and procedures based on international standards, and currently works as a consultant for an educational company.

Moath Al-Oqail

Eng. Essam Al-Reedy

Member

A judo practitioner since 1992, he holds a 5th Dan black belt and has achieved notable accomplishments at both the national and Gulf levels.
An internationally certified referee, he has officiated in over 30 international championships and served as Chairman of the Saudi Referees Committee from 2016 to 2018.
He has been a member of the Referees Committee since 2006 and continues to contribute to the advancement of the refereeing system within the Kingdom.

Abdulkarim Al-Awaji

Member

A judo champion and practitioner since 1998, he holds a 3rd Dan black belt and has achieved top rankings at the national level.
An internationally certified referee since 2007, he has been a member of the Saudi Referees Committee since 2020 and is ranked among the top 10 referees in Asia.
He has participated in four international championships and obtained his international refereeing certification in 2022.
