Mahmoud Al-Aradi

Technical Director

Technical Director of the Saudi Judo Federation since 2023.
He has gained extensive expertise over 10 years in the United Kingdom and various European countries in the fields of judo, sports science, and athlete development planning. He trained under world-class coaches and competed in numerous European tournaments during his athletic career.
He is the first Gulf national to obtain an international coaching license from the International Judo Academy.
He also holds a certificate in “Sports Organization Management” from the same academy.
Al-Aradi is a certified assistant member of the International Judo Federation Academy.

Koji Kakamu

Head Coach

Served as the head coach of Japan’s national junior and youth judo teams for 8 years, during which he led athletes to win numerous gold medals in Asian, World, and Olympic championships.
He holds a 7th Dan black belt from the Kodokan Institute in Japan and is considered one of the leading kata experts in the country.
Koji has extensive experience coaching Japanese police judo teams and is known for his deep passion for integrating education and culture into the holistic development of athletes




Yuki Nagatomo

National Team Coach

A graduate of Kokushikan School in Japan, renowned for its expertise in ground fighting techniques.
He is passionate about and specialized in training judo ground combat (ne-waza).










Obaid Bin Obaidat

Member

Technical Support Specialist at the Saudi Judo Federation and a member of the competition and technical committees for both the Saudi Games and international events.
He holds a diploma in Financial and Banking Management, along with international coaching certifications from the International Judo Federation Academy, the Leadership Development Institute, and Special Olympics training programs.
Obaid has previously served in administrative roles with the Saudi national team and Al-Shabab Club, and brings extensive experience in both organizational and technical aspects of the sport.

Chiho Takata

Member

Head coach of the Saudi women's national judo team, with international experience since 2018, including technical supervision at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
She is a former champion of Japan’s Self-Defense Forces Judo Championship (2016) and Japan’s national Sambo champion (2014), reflecting a strong background in martial arts.
Chiho plays a key role in advancing women’s judo in the Kingdom by bringing advanced Japanese expertise and training the national elite.



Hayato Nagashima

Member

Serving as a fitness and judo coach within the technical staff of the Saudi Judo Federation.
He holds a degree in Sports Science from Waseda University in Japan, one of the country's most prestigious institutions in the field.
With international coaching experience in both Japan and the United States, Hayato contributes to enhancing the physical and technical performance of the Saudi national team athletes.
