Committee Members

Mr. Mohammed Saud Al-Qarmalah

Chairman of the Grading, Belt, and Kata Committee

retired educator and judo champion since 1983 (1403 AH), he holds a 6th Dan national black belt and a 3rd Dan from Tokyo.
He is an international referee in combat and an international kata judge. He currently chairs both the Grading and Belt Committee and the Kata Judges Committee within the Federation.
Mr. Al-Qarmalah has coached the Saudi national judo team, served as an official at the 2021 World Kata Championship, and is a certified instructor in multiple training courses.

Abdulmonem Ali Al-Sayed

Member

A professional judo coach with a 5th Dan black belt and an international coaching diploma. He is a member of the Federation’s main Grading and Belt Committee.
He led the "Safe Falling" project at Prince Sultan Medical City and contributed to the development of school judo through the King Abdullah Project.
Abdulmonem is a certified sports pharmacist by the International Olympic Committee and a member of the Sports Pharmacy Program for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Ahmed Hanoon Al-Zahrani

Judo coach at Waj Club and holder of a 5th Dan black belt.
He is a member of the Grading and Belt Committee at the Saudi Judo Federation.
Ahmed is known for his extensive experience in technical coaching and skill development, and is considered one of the national talents in athlete preparation.
